Assisted in cease and desist actions against Ponzi schemes in 1995-1997 for the State of Florida, Department of Banking and Finance (Now Known As the Florida Office of Financial Regulation).Handled over one thousand employment and consumer-related securities matters while in private practice. Represented over 600 brokers who transferred billions of dollars in assets under management from one financial institution to another.
Lectured at judicial training conferences and at numerous securities seminars for FINRA, NASAA, and the Florida Comptroller’s Office. Appointed as a receiver and special master by the United States District Court for the Southern District of Florida, and the Circuit Court of the 17th Judicial Circuit upon the recommendation of the Securities and Exchange Commission and the Florida Attorney General's Office.
